Perry High School Health Fair - 10/11/2013

Kiwanis District Leadership sponsored a health fair at Perry High School today. The Chandler club showed their support by staffing the Willie Dog cart.  Great support from our dedicated club members.

Ryan Park Clean Up - 08/02/2013
Great turnout at today's Ryan Park Clean Up.  Everyone pitched in and added a nice shine to the park. Afterwards we headed out to Paradise Bakery for breakfast.  A nice way to start the weekend. 

Members attend Kiwanis Leadership Training - 07/19/2013
Leroy Tapia and Terry Roe attended Kiwanis Leadership training today.  The annual district sponsored training gives club officers valuable tools that they can use in their own clubs. Terry will serve as president while Leroy will be the club secretary.

Aprende Middle School Scholarships - 05/15/2013
Lucky to be in Kiwanis - Just had the pleasure of awarding two Outstanding Aprende Middle School students with $100 scholarships. Giving money away too children who deserve it is a complete blast. Aaron Kline and Emily Stellburg are the two lucky students. The Chandler Kiwanis Club members take our hats off to both of you. Congratulations!

Chandler Kiwanis Sponsors Battle of the Books - 05/06/2013

Kylie Carson along with Noelle Redding and Sherry Wang kept their cool and flawlessly answered every question during the Chandler District Finale of  “Battle of the Books”. The youth from Tarwater Elementary school came prepared and it paid off.  Battle of the Books is an annual competition coordinated by Kathy Gamard the librarian at Shumway Elementary School. 

The Chandler Battle of the Books is sponsored by the Chandler Public Library System, participating schools, and the Kiwanis Club of Chandler.

The top three teams will go on to compete at the regional championship of the Battle of the Books between the cities of Chandler, Mesa, Gilbert, Higley, and Queen Creek on May 14th...

Apache Junction Boys & Girls Club Service Project - 04/19/2013
The Chandler Kiwanis will work with other District Kiwanis clubs on a service project to help the children in our community. Together district clubs will perform a professional makeover on the Apache Junction Boys & Girls Club ball field. How Great is That!

Ryan Park Clean Up - 03/29/2013
The Chandler Kiwanis Club will meet at Ryan Park to participate in a monthly clean up project. The efforts of our members help make Ryan Park shine for the neighborhood community where it's located. The park is located at 2450 S. Hartford in Chandler. 

Chandler Club supports Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year Banquet - 02/24/2013
Each year the Boys & Girls Club holds a banquet to recognize youth whom have taken the time to invest in their own future. This is a great event to attend to witness today's youth as they prepare to enter college.  The youth presentations along with the scholarships that are awarded will make the evening entertaining and inspirational. 

This year the Chandler Kiwanis Club is proud to join the many other sponsors in the community to support this worthwhile event.
